Lara Oram

About Lara

Lara is an Occupational Therapist with over 8 years experience in the areas of disability and community. She took a break from the profession to raise her three children and re-commenced clinical practice in the last few years. During her career she has specialised in assistive technology prescription, employment services,  paediatrics, and modifications in the home and workplace. She worked in a research project contributing to the evidence-based practice for home modifications.

Lara enjoyed volunteering for the Christian Blind Mission Luke 14 project assessing church buildings for disability access.

Lara is passionate about assisting her clients to achieve greater independence and function which is why she values the wholistic nature of occupational therapy. This passion has led to a particular focus on access, home modifications and assistive technology.”
