Our Services
Complex and Minor Home Modifications
A safe and accessible home environment is integral to one’s well-being as we age. Our Occupational Therapists assess the home environment, suggesting modifications ranging from the installation of handrails and ramps to more significant structural changes like bathroom modifications.
Daily Living Equipment Prescription
From mobility aids such as walkers and wheelchairs to kitchen aids for meal preparation, we ensure our clients are equipped with what they need to live independently and comfortably. We assist clients in choosing the right equipment and devices to facilitate their everyday activities.
Falls Prevention
Falls can have serious consequences. To reduce the risk of falls, we assess client risk factors, provide education on fall prevention strategies, recommend appropriate safety equipment, and suggest necessary home modifications. Our OT’s comprehensive approach aims to enhance our clients confidence and safety in their daily routines.
Seating Assessments
A supportive wheelchair or seating system can make a significant difference to quality of life, positioning and ability to partake in activities of daily living. Our Occupational Therapists are skilled in assessing your individual postural and seating needs, while recommending and sourcing the most suitable seating solutions to ensure maximum comfort and support.
Pressure Care
Prevention and management of pressure injuries vital for those with mobility impairment through the use of specialist equipment. Through detailed assessments, education, and recommending pressure-relieving equipment, we assist our clients in maintaining skin integrity and preventing pressure-related complications.
